Wade Myers
Wade served as an Airborne Ranger in the U.S. Army and received a Bronze Star for his actions in the Gulf War. He spent several years at Mobil Corporation, rising from a sales representative to leading a $150m business unit. After a stint at the Boston Consulting Group – where he spearheaded the strategy for the largest travel website among several other tech and analytics-related work – he became a software entrepreneur and active angel investor.
As a founder, Wade has launched fourteen software firms, including a fintech he sold to JPMorgan, which grew into their Capital Connect offering. His best exit for investors was a 68x return and his best exit price multiple was 50x LTM revenue. Three of Eagle’s portfolio companies were founded by Wade. As an investor, Wade has invested in over 100 startups. Wade has a BS from North Dakota State University, an MS in Computer Information Systems from Texas A&M, and an MBA from Harvard where he graduated as a Baker Scholar (top 5% of his class). He also helped develop an executive education course for Harvard Business School and is a Harvard case study author.
He is also a published author with articles in Inc. Magazine, Forbes, Huffington Post, and Apple News and was featured in Episode 4 of Season 1 of the Curious Entrepreneur series on Amazon Prime. Wade is married and has five children.
