In our strategic leadership course, we will explore several leadership models, with a special focus on SLII®. This model offers a practical and easily understandable framework that empowers managers to assess the development level of their employees concerning specific tasks or goals. Management Training Course Objectives
- Examine the importance of capability development using different leadership theories such as situational or servant leadership theories, a professional and industry code of practice and standard.
- Explain the roles and responsibilities of team leaders in driving talent management process
- Explain the legal and ethical considerations in individual capability development in the PDPA and TAFEP context
- Apply leadership with reference to servant leadership theory to manage communication channels with team members about their capability development
- Align organisational goals, policies & procedures to team goals and capability development
- Identify new and emerging skill requirements based on the review of organisational and team business plans that in line with market trends and developments
- Communicate expectations to team members on their performance and skill requirements
- Identify and support learning and development of team member skills
- Translate skill requirements of team member into learning and development plans and implement the plans to address team member skill gaps
- Encourage and support team members to identify, develop and share skills and experiences to address mismatches in leadership styles
- Apply the Leadership theory to review the effectiveness of the leadership style of team leaders in various scenarios
